Al Levy's, Los Angeles 1937

£20.00

Al Levy arrived in Los Angeles from Ireland in the 1870s and became an enormously successful restaurateur. He invented the Oyster Cocktail which became the culinary attraction at his restaurant. Levy befriended the early stars of stage, screen, opera and politics. Al Levy's was the first big-time movie hangout.
