This 1930s matchbook cover is beyond charming. The flirty sugar cube. The bold diving bitters. The three ice cubes sitting coyly on the edge of the glass. The tiny red lipstick kiss just inside the lemon peel. Great fun.
We call it Alexander Cocktail after the recipe on the back of the matchbook – although the ingredients in the art are definitely not those of an Alexander cocktail. Just in case you were wondering…
