Bismarck Café, San Francisco 1900s

£20.00

The Bismarck Café was another German-influenced restaurant in San Francisco in the 1900s where hearty portions of steak and bread and unlimited jugs of beer were served to patrons. Located in the Pacific Building on Market Street, it was called “the largest and finest café in the city.” This impressive menu cover with a heraldic design was printed by the Louis Roesch Company, a local firm.
