This is the only menu we have seen with a foreword – a note from the management offers to "soothe the palates of the most fastidious" with Chinese or American food. It also warns – in red letters – that intoxicating liquor is strictly prohibited on the premises and that people must only dance with their own escorts. This was Boston dining in the 1950s – we are going to assume that the quality of the food made up for all the rules. There are great graphics on this menu and cute illustrations – look at the feet of the man sitting at the table with his girlfriend. His feet are tiny!
