Forget the Paleo Diet or The South Beach Diet … why not try Henrici’s Diet? Someone with a sense of humor created this low-calorie menu with delicious dishes such as the boiled-out stains of Old Table Cloth, three eyes from an Irish potato and Aroma of Empty Custard Pie Plate. Henrici’s was founded in Chicago in 1868 and this legendary restaurant survived for nearly a hundred years before being closed and demolished in 1962. There is no date on this humorous menu but we think it must be from the 1930s.
