This dancing coffee set is very endearing and comes from a fine old diner that closed long ago in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Positioned on route US 27, The Pine Villa Restaurant in the 1940s was a popular stopping off point for motorists on their way to Cincinnati as well as a favored spot for local farm workers. Look at the hours that it was open – from 6am till 1am. Motorists would stop for coffee, hot cakes and breakfast, lunch or dinner, and then they would fill up their cars with gas and get on their way. It wasn't a fancy place as you can see from the photos and from the menu, but it was one of those restaurants that provided a valuable service to a rural community. On the interior, we especially like the cute little waitress who is offering the Quick Service Special – service with a smile!
